This building was built in 1648 as a residence for the Counts Lascaris-Ventimiglia, which was until 1802.
Baroque and Genoese in style, the palace has a gateway with pilasters, an imposing staircase adorned with frescoes and luxuriously decorated lounges.
It was classified a Historic Monument in 1946 and now houses Flemish tapestries, furniture and collections of faience of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries.
It is planned to install soon the Museum of Music of Nice. To see: The monumental staircase of honor and decorated with frescoes.
